IUN-James W. & Betty Dye Scholarship

The Scholarship will pay one-half (1/2) of the recipients tuition (instructional credit and lab hours only). The criteria for the receiving of Scholarships will be as follows:
A. Recipients will be non-traditional students defined as not having attended any university classes within four years of high school graduation;
B. Recipients will be United States citizens who reside in Lake, Porter, Jasper, or Newton County, IN and who are graduates of a Lake, Porter, Newton, or Jasper County, IN High School;
C. Recipients must maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA; student becomes ineligible for scholarship renewal if falling below 3.0 cumulative GPA;
D. Recipients must have successfully completed a minimum of twelve (12) credit hours at IU Northwest and be continually enrolled and completing a minimum of fifteen (15) credit hours per academic year with maximum benefits of one-half (1/2) of the tuition for the remaining credit hours required for the degree up to 108 (one hundred eight) credit hours or a maximum of one hundred and twenty (120) credit hours totally completed, whichever occurs first;
E.Must not be the recipient of any other scholarship or award;
