IUPUC-Familia Souza Scholarship

It is the intent of the Donors, and the Foundation agrees, that these gifts be used to supports undergraduate scholarship for student s enrolled at Indiana University Purdue University Columbus who have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Because, as part of the mission, Indiana University is committed to diversity, special consideration will be given to underrepresented populations, including but not limited to financially challenged students, and/or student with diverse cultural experiences. The Donors have a first preference for students who do not qualify for federal or state-based financial aid because of their citizenship status, such as undocumented and/or specifically documented students, refugees, and /or student who have been granted political asylum and were born in Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua and a second preference for students of Hispanic/Latino descent. The scholarship will be a minimum of $500. The number, amount(s), and recipient(s) of the Scholarship will be determined by the Scholarship Committee of IUPUC
