IUB-John E. Best Scholarship

This Jacobs School of Music scholarship is awarded to undergraduate or graduate student(s) from Winchester High School (State of Indiana) who display better-than-average character, scholarship, school activities, and leadership. Preference will be given to students with recognized ability in music with at least one year of participation in the band, orchestra, or vocal department at Winchester High School. Students studying an instrument in band, orchestra, or voice training will also receive preferential consideration. Should no student meet the above criteria, the Scholarship shall apply to a student of such educational institution that serves the geographical area.
