IUB-L.J. and Faye E. Burrus Speech-Language Pathology Program Fellowship
Fellowships for students in the Speech-Language Pathology clinical program in the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences within the College of Arts and Sciences on the IUB campus . Because, as part of its mission, Indiana University is committed to diversity, special consideration will be given to underrepresented populations, including but not limited to financially-challenged students and/or students with diverse cultural experiences. The Donor asks that preference be given to female students, especially those with financial need, in the selection process.
The recipient(s) will be awarded the Fellowship for one year. Incumbent recipients may apply for and be awarded the Fellowship for a second year, consecutive or not, if, and only if, the selection committee(s) concludes the incumbent(s) is making satisfactory progress toward completion of her/his degree.
Recipients of this Fellowship may not hold it for more than a total of two years.
The Donor wants recipients to have flexibility in using this Fellowship to further their educational goals and, thus, defines authorized expenditures broadly to include, but not be limited to, room and board, books, tuition, conference and other professional fees, travel to conferences and other professional activities, and travel and/or materials for research.
