It is the intent of the Donor, and the Foundation agrees, that this gift be used to further the study of African (defined as the indigenous people) and African-American (defined as Diaspora-North American, South American, Central America, the Caribbean, Mexico) Folklore and Ethnomusicology, as determined at the discretion of the Chairperson of the Department and approved by the Dean.
