IUB-Carrington Economics Scholars Endowment

Four scholarships will be given annually to undergraduate students who are majoring in economics. The scholarships will be given to at least two students who will receive the funding during their junior year, and at least two students who will receive the funding in their senior year. Recipients will be students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents and whose record of academic excellence is amongst the best in the department as determined by the Scholarship Committee of the Department of Economics. The Scholarship Committee may also consider whether any of the eligible students have significant financial need and may choose to consider this need when selecting recipients. The scholarships may be renewed provided the recipients are in good academic standing and are making progress toward degree completion as determined by the Scholarship Committee of the Department.
