IUN-Helen Danko Performing Arts Scholarship

It is the intent of the Donor, and the Foundation agrees, that income from this gift be used to support two
annual scholarships for full-time undergraduate students majoring in Theater at IU Northwest who have
demonstrated financial need and have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Because, as part of its
mission, Indiana University is committed to diversity, special consideration will be given to
underrepresented populations, including but not limited to financially challenged students, and/or
students with diverse cultural experiences. The Donor has a preference for one female and one male
recipient. The amounts and recipients of the Scholarship will be determined by a scholarship committee
of IU Northwest. If, in a given year, there are more than enough funds available to fully fund at least two
Scholarship recipients, additional recipient(s) may be chosen that year to receive any excess income.
