IUB-Jeffrey Haynes Hillis LGBTQ+ Scholarship (IU Foundation)

Awarded annually to either an undergraduate or graduate student who is currently enrolled on the Indiana University Bloomington campus. Because, as part of its mission, Indiana University is committed to diversity, special consideration will be given to underrepresented populations, including but not limited to financially challenged students, and/or students with diverse cultural experiences. The Donor has a preference for an undergraduate LGBTQ+ student, but consideration will also be given to LGBTQ+ graduate students. The Scholarship recipient will be selected based upon leadership on LGBTQ+ issues on the campus and/or in the community, a record of academic achievement, future career goals, demonstrated financial need, volunteer involvement, and other extra-curricular activities.
