IUI-Jason Baker Legacy Scholarship (O'Neill SPEA)

The Jason Baker Legacy Scholarship was created in memory of O’Neill IUI alumnus and Marion County Sheriff Deputy Jason M. Baker, who was killed in the line of duty. Jason dedicated his life to service, community and country. Jerry and Sharon Baker established the fund in memory of their son. To apply, students must be pursuing a degree in public safety or criminal justice. Preference will be given to Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors, those from underrepresented populations, or that have demonstrated financial need. Finalists for this scholarship will be interviewed by the scholarship committee.
