IUB-Charles O. McGaughey Leadership Award

Awarded to IU Bloomington undergraduates who have completed two academic years of full-time undergraduate studies at the Bloomington campus and who are in the College of Arts + Sciences or the Kelley School of Business. Candidates must demonstrate leadership abilities and an appreciation of basic American values as evidenced by a record of achievement through community service and service to the University (e.g., working to earn money to defray school expenses, working on behalf of charitable organizations, working on political campaigns, working in student organizations, student teaching, etc.), have the equivalent of at least a “B” average in all academic courses at the University, demonstrate an appreciation of the values of liberty and the democratic form of government and an appreciation of the importance of respect for others and for the diversity of our nation, and have no criminal record.
