IUI-Tah-Tah Self Achievement Award (Science)

Tahnesia ‘Tah-Tah’ Towner was a strong, independent young woman who studied biology in pursuit of her dream to be a pediatrician. Upon her passing, friends and family chose to keep Tah-Tah’s spirit alive by establishing this award, which is made to an African-American female who is pursuing a medical career. The recipient must demonstrate academic excellence and be in the top 20% of the class.

Recipient must be a student enrolled in the IUI School of Science.
