IUIN-Frank J. Welcher Award (Science)

Overview:

Dr. Frank J. Welcher served as Chair of the Department of Chemistry before IU Indianapolis was officially established. The award was established in Dr. Welcher’s honor by his wife, Helen Beasley Welcher, and is given to a graduating senior with the most outstanding professional promise.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

• Be a senior enrolled in the IU Indianapolis School of Science chemistry program
• Be graduating within the current academic year

Awarding:

The scholarship will be awarded and disbursed to the Spring semester of the current academic year.

Renewability:

This scholarship is non-renewable.
