IUSB-South Bend School of Education Underrepresented Teacher Scholarship & Calvin Underrepresented

This scholarship supports undergraduate students in the School of Education at Indiana University South Bend (IUSB) with a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale who graduated from a high school in the Michiana region. Recipient(s) should have a professed commitment to teaching in public schools in St. Joseph or Elkhart Counties, as indicated in the scholarship application. Indiana University, as part of its mission, is committed to diversity, therefore underrepresented populations, including but not limited to financially challenged students and/or students with diverse cultural experiences, receive priority consideration. African American, Hispanic, and/or Native American male students receive priority consideration from the donor. The scholarship is renewable as long as recipient continues to meet the criteria outlined above.
