IUSB-Frank and Lori Ermeti Scholarship
The Frank and Lori Ermeti Scholarship is designed to improve educational opportunities for students in St. Joseph County, Indiana.
Criteria:
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered eligible for the scholarship:
1. Be a graduate of Mishawaka High School or Saint Joseph High School;
2. Be a resident of St. Joseph County, Indiana; 3. Be starting their sophomore year for the next academic year (Awarded Spring of
freshman year);
4. Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0;
5. Demonstrate need;
6. Intend to pursue a degree through a full-time baccalaureate course of study at Indiana University South Bend;
7. Complete the Free Application for Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA) and the IUSB Online Scholarship Application;
Award:
• Up to $2,000 per year (paid $1,000 per semester) for tuition and required fees. Recipients may receive support for no more than three consecutive academic years, beginning their sophomore year. Awards will be paid directly to the institution.
• The award cannot exceed the cost of tuition and mandatory fees for any session during which the scholarship is received.
• The scholarship is renewable each March 1st as long as the student maintains a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, maintains full-time status and remains in good academic standing.
• A new recipient should be chosen only when the student either graduates or does not meet the GPA criteria.
Students will be identified by Indiana University South Bend according to the criteria above, as supervised by the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County.
