IUIN-Senior Academy Freshman Scholarship for IPS Students

IUI incoming full-time freshmen graduating from an Indianapolis Public School pursuing their first undergraduate degree, who meet regular admission requirements and have a minimum cumulative HS GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, are encouraged to apply.

In making its selection decision, the scholarship committee will be considering academic achievements, level of financial need, and evidence of thoughtful reflection on past community service.

  • The Senior Academy at IUI has established a scholarship program designed to support the success of IUI freshmen who graduated from the Indianapolis Public School System (IPS), including any IPS Innovation Network School. This scholarship helps fund tuition and books for high-achieving IPS grads who show potential for academic excellence at IUI. The scholarship will be awarded in the second semester of the awardee high-school senior year for enrollment at IUI in the following fall semester. Additionally, the awardee will be invited to an Academy event to be acknowledged as a senior academy scholar.

This scholarship is renewable, provided the recipient maintains at least a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
