IUSB-(ICN) Indiana Center for Nursing Scholarship

The Indiana Center for Nursing (ICN) is pleased to announce changes to the Indiana Center for Nursing
Scholarship Program. The Indiana Center for Nursing, a not-for-profit member organization, endeavors to secure the future of Indiana’s licensed nursing workforce by preparing them to meet the healthcare needs of Indiana’s citizens. The ICN also strives to create a working environment for nurses that will make Indiana a destination state for nursing practice. These SCHOLARSHIPS are awarded to the member schools of
nursing of the Indiana Center for Nursing and will be administered by each school to undergraduate or
graduate degree students. Each school of nursing shall select their scholarship recipient(s) and distribute the award money to their selected student(s). A minimum of 50% of the scholarship monies provided to the school must be awarded to student(s) from under-represented cultural groups.*
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The Indiana Center for Nursing SCHOLARSHIP will be awarded to candidates who meet the following
minimum qualifications:
1. Indiana resident
2. Enrolled in one of the schools of nursing holding membership in the Indiana Center for Nursing since July .1, 2021
3. Full-time undergraduate or full-time/part-time graduate student in nursing major
4. GPA of 3.0 or above
5. Financial need is considered
6. Demonstrates a commitment to work in nursing in the state of Indiana upon graduation
Consideration is given to all applicants without regard to age, gender, race, creed, or national origin.
