IUIN-Sheats Family Scholarship in Urban Education (School of Education)

Overview:

Awarded to a student (undergraduate, graduate or graduate non-degree certification) pursuing mathematics education with demonstrated financial need. Must have a 3.0 GPA. Must show proof, if employed while at IU Indianapolis (Pay stub, letterhead statement from employer). Preference will be given to students from New Castle, IN or Henry County.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

• Be an undergraduate or graduate student pursuing mathematics education at the School of Education at IU Indianapolis
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
• Have demonstrated financial need.
• Preference will be given to students from New Castle, IN or Henry County.

Awarding:

This scholarship will be awarded and disbursed in the upcoming academic year.

Renewability:

This scholarship is not renewable.
