IUC-Mark and Wendy Elwood Endowed Scholarship

It is the intent of the Donors, and the Foundation agrees, that income from this gift be used to support undergraduate scholarship for juniors and seniors at Indiana University Columbus who are majoring in Biology and Psychology, have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, and plan to work in a profession to help people with mental health issues or a profession in animal care, including veterinary medicine. Students must submit an essay of 250 words or less describing how they have worked toward and why they want to pursue a career in a profession to help people or animals. Preference will be given to student who are participating in Biology Pre-Veterinary or Psychology training therapies such as case managers, behavioral technicians, or mental health counseling or IUC certificates in substance abuse or case management. The number, amount(s), and recipient(s) of the Scholarship will be determined by the Scholarship Committee of IUC.
