IUIN-Charalambos D. Aliprantis Prize (Science)
Overview:
This award was established by Dr. Bart Ng, Dean Emeritus and Professor of the School of Science, to honor the memory of Professor Charalambos D. ‘Roko’ Aliprantis and his contributions to the development of the Department of Mathematical Sciences. Dr. Aliprantis was a dedicated faculty member from 1974 through 1996 and contributed greatly to interdisciplinary research in mathematics.
This scholarship is awarded to outstanding mathematics graduate students who exemplify outstanding scholastic achievements as well as leadership qualities.
Eligibility:
Applicants must
- Be a graduate student enrolled in the IU Indianapolis School of Science mathematics department
Awarding:
The scholarship will be awarded and disbursed to the next academic year, split between Fall and Spring semesters.
Renewability:
This scholarship is non-renewable.
