IUSB-Lester & Elizabeth Lamon Scholarship

It is the intent of the Donor, and the Foundation agrees, that income from this gift be used to support scholarships for sophomores, juniors, and seniors at IU South Bend who have financial need, a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, and are majoring in biological sciences, business, chemistry, biochemistry, computer science, informatics, nursing, or physics and are enrolled in a course in one of the following fields: history, philosophy, English literature, American government, women’s studies, or gender studies. The total amount of the scholarships will be equivalent to the available income and the minimum amount awarded to each recipient will be equivalent to the total cost of tuition, books, and fees for one course. The Scholarship is not renewable. The number, amount(s), and recipient(s) of the Scholarship will be determined by a scholarship committee of IU South Bend.
