IUIN-Dr. Cheryl A. Bean Graduate Nursing Scholarship

Overview:

In tribute to Dr. Bean’s dedication to the nursing profession, her students and the IU School of Nursing where she served as a faculty member. This Scholarship was created in Dr. Bean’s memory by her loving sister and brother-in-law.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

• Be a graduate Nursing student
• Attend the IU Indianapolis campus
• Have obtained baccalaureate nursing degree from the School at the IU Indianapolis campus
• Have a 3.0 GPA or higher
• Be a U.S. citizen
• File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA),
• Demonstrate financial need as defined by the U.S. Department of Education’s criteria for need-based federal financial aid
• Preference given to students who plan to become nursing faculty members who will teach nursing students.

Awarding:

This scholarship will be awarded for the current academic year.

Renewability:

This scholarship is not renewable, but applicants may receive it more than once.
