IUI-The Distributed Drug Discovery Scholarship for Excellence in Organic Chemistry (Science)

The Distributed Drug Discovery Scholarship for Excellence in Organic Chemistry was established by a grateful alumnus of the Chemistry and Chemical Biology Department. This scholarship supports undergraduate students who have shown outstanding academic performance in organic chemistry within the classroom and laboratory, mental attitude, and work ethic.

Recipients must be a sophomore, junior, or senior at IUI with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Recipients must have successfully completed and passed four advanced or non-entry level courses in chemistry within the School of Science such as CHEM-C341, CHEM-C342, CHEM-C343, and CHEM-C344 or their equivalents. Instructors of Organic Chemistry will be asked for a statement of support or brief letter of recommendation for all nominated students or students who apply. The scholarship is not renewable.
