IUSB-George Nazaroff Scholarship

This scholarship supports chemistry or biochemistry students entering their senior year of study at Indiana University South Bend (“IUSB”). Recipient(s) must carry a minimum chemistry or biochemistry GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and an overall minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. The following criteria will be considered in selecting recipients: a) Performance in physical chemistry or biochemistry courses and laboratory; b) Chemistry or biochemistry GPA; c) Overall GPA; d) Contribution to departmental activities. The scholarship will not necessarily be given to the student with the highest grades, but to the student who best displays hard work and intellectual attitude. Recipient(s) will be expected to complete the requirements of the Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or biochemistry within two years of receiving the scholarship. Chemistry or biochemistry majors who completed the two-semester physical chemistry sequence at IUSB receive priority consideration.
