IUB-James K. and Amy L. Bergstrom Scholarship

It is the intent of the Donors, and the Foundation agrees, that the income from this gift be used to support scholarships for incoming freshmen who intend to pursue a major in the Department of Economics within the College of Arts and Sciences and have demonstrated financial need. Because, as part of its mission, Indiana University is committed to diversity, special consideration will be given to underrepresented populations, including but not limited to financially challenged students, and/or students with diverse cultural experiences. The Donors have a preference for students from underrepresented populations and/or female students. The Scholarship may be renewed for up to three additional academic years provided the recipient(s) remain(s) a major in Economics and has/have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on 4.0 scale. The number, amount(s), and recipient(s) of the Scholarship will be determined by a scholarship committee of the College in accordance with guidelines and procedures established by the College, Indiana University, and the Foundation.
