IUI-Altrusa International of Indianapolis Scholarship

The Altrusa International of Indianapolis Foundation seeks to support an incoming undergraduate pursuing their first undergraduate degree, who meets IUI regular admission requirements OR a currently enrolled IUI undergraduate in good academic standing.

Applicant requirements:

  1. Non-traditional adult student (10+ years since high school)
  2. Minimum cumulative 2.7 GPA
  3. Permanent resident of Central Indiana (Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Madison, Marion, Morgan or Shelby Counties)
  4. Demonstrates financial need

Altrusa International of Indianapolis, which is dedicated to improving economic well-being and quality of life through a commitment to community services and literacy, has established a fund to support non-traditional students completing their first bachelor’s degree. The awardee will be invited to the Altrusa International of Indianapolis’ Annual Spring Style Show and Luncheon in early fall to be acknowledged as the year’s scholar. The foundation will send a separate invitation to the event as the date is still to be determined due to the continuing pandemic restrictions.
