IUI-Thomas M. Ulbright, M.D. and Corinne E. Ulbright, Ph.D. Scholarship

Thank you for your interest in the Ulbright Scholarship at IUI. This application will determine your eligibility for this scholarship, of up to $10,000.
If eligible, your application will be reviewed by a scholarship committee along with your recommendations. Only a limited number of recipients will be chosen to receive the award, with just one recipient chosen to receive a renewable award.

From this application, one student will be selected to receive a maximum award, renewable for up to 6 years or until graduation. In addition to this first selection, additional one-time award recipients will be chosen to receive the award for one year, without guarantee of renewal. If you are selected, you will be notified as to which award you will receive. Both awards have a maximum of $10,000 per year, but the actual awards will be based on individual financial need.

To be eligible to receive this scholarship, you must:
• Have been an eligible participant in the THRIVE program for at least 2 semesters.
• Have limited to no familial support for college, financial or otherwise.
• Have financial need for college costs of attendance.
• Have a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Be making satisfactory progress on your degree and academic goals.

  10. IUI Welfare Service League Leadership Scholarship (WSLLS)

    The IUI WSLL Scholarship is an annual $500 award for students who have completed the THRIVE First-Year Experience at IUI successfully and have received Child Welfare Services in Marion County at some point previously in life. As there are overlapping requirements for these awards, we encourage you to complete the following questions if you believe you may be eligible. Even if not selected for the Ulbright Scholarship, you may still be selected for the WSSL Scholarship.
