IUB-Student Conference Travel Fund Fall Semester

It is the intent of the Donors, and the Foundation agrees, that these gifts be used to support graduate student travel for conference presentation with preference given to papers dealing with an African language or languages.

The Fund may be used to supplement other funds to ensure that recipients receive a minimum of $200 from all sources. The executive committee would evaluate the applications at the same time during the semester that they evaluate the College’s Graduate Student Travel Grant.

The department requests that if the student does not attend the conference for which they are requesting funding, they inform the department as soon as they are able.
