IUIN-English for Academic Purposes Graduate Award (Liberal Arts)

Overview:

This award is presented to an IU Indianapolis graduate student for an outstanding project originating in an English for Academic Purposes (EAP) G513 (Academic Writing for Graduate Students) or G520 (Communication Skills for Graduate Students and ITAs) class in the past 12 months.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

• Be a graduate student at IU Indianapolis
• Have completed an English for Academic Purposes G513 or G520 class in the past 12 months and submit an essay originating from G513 or an oral presentation accompanied by a full written script of the oral presentation from G520
• Students who have not been enrolled in an EAP section of G513 or G520 in the last year are not eligible.
• Students may submit only one (1) project per person (either G513 or G520). Do not put your name on any submitted materials.

Awarding:

This scholarship will be awarded and disbursed in the spring semester of the current academic year.

Renewability:

This scholarship is not renewable.
