IUIN-David J. Handel Leadership Scholarship (Public Health)

Overview:

It is the intent of the Donor, and the Foundation agrees, that income from the Gift be used to support scholarships for graduate students pursuing an MHA degree in the Fairbanks School of Public Health. Preference will be given to students who have worked at least two years post-undergraduate and have demonstrated financial need. The amounts and recipients of the Scholarship will be determined by a scholarship committee of the School. In selecting recipients of this Scholarship, the School will identify eligible students through its standard process and shall seek recommendations from or consult with the Donor or their designated representative, if available, with the final decision being made by the School.

Eligibility:

Applicant must:

• Be enrolled in the Master of Health Administration Program at the Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health
• Preference will be given to students who have worked at least two years post-undergraduate and have financial need.

Awarding:

This scholarship will be awarded and disbursed for the next academic year.

Renewal:

This scholarship does not automatically renew.
