IUB-Marge Ison Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded by IU Auditorium to undergraduate Box Office Clerks on the Bloomington campus. Students must be in good standing with IU Auditorium, have no unexcused absences, be graduating after May 2025, return as an Auditorium student staff member in the 2025-2026 academic school year, be enrolled full-time, and have demonstrated financial need.

Supplemental Questions

  1. Named in memory of longtime IU Auditorium Box Office Manager, Marge Ison, this scholarship will provide a $1000 need-based scholarship for the 2026–2027 academic year to an IU Auditorium student employee in the Box Office.

    To be considered, the applicant must be an undergraduate student and Box Office Clerk who meets the following criteria:

    • Clerk in good standing.
    • No unexcused absences.
    • Must be graduating after May 2026.
    • Must return as an Auditorium student staff member in the 2026-2027 academic school year.
    • Must be enrolled full-time as an IU undergraduate student during the semester(s) in which you wish the scholarship to apply.
    • Demonstrated financial need; names of finalists will be submitted to the Office of Student Financial Assistance to determine need. Note: you MUST be registered with the Office of Student Financial Assistance to be considered for this scholarship, and be up-to-date on your FAFSA filing. *
    • 1. Are you currently a Box Office Clerk at the IU Auditorium and will be returning to one of those roles for the upcoming school year?
    • 2. Please write a three-paragraph explanation of the experience you hope to gain from working in the box office at Indiana University Auditorium.
