IUB-Seed Fellowship for Graduate Projects

This fund supports graduate students enrolled in any Media School degree program. Students are eligible to apply for up to $500 to support original work. These grants are intended for projects that have not previously received support from The Media School. Funding is provided by the Graduate Program and the Office of Research and Creative Activity. Funds will be deposited into the student’s Bursar account. If the project involves human subjects, an IRB approval number must be submitted to the Director of Graduate Studies (DGS) before funds are disbursed. These funds may not be used for conference travel, but can be used to support travel directly related to:

  • Creative production (e.g., travel to shoot locations)
  • Research activities (e.g., travel to archives)
