IUIN-Robert E. Cavanaugh Memorial Scholarship

Overview
The Robert E. Cavanaugh Memorial Scholarship will be used to support students attending IU Indianapolis, with a preference for students who graduated from an Indiana high school. The scholarship shall be predicated on the demonstrated financial need of the applicant, but as between equally deserving applicants, preference shall be given to that one who evinces the greatest potential for future leadership.

Eligibility
You must be

• Enrolled as a student at IU Indianapolis
• Have submitted a FAFSA for the 2026-2027 academic year
• Preferably have graduated from a high school in Marion County or Indian, in general
• Preference for candidates who demonstrate the greatest potential for future leadership, as shown on your general application.

Awarding
This scholarship will be awarded in the academic year subsequent to application.

Renewals
This award is not renewable by default, but may be awarded more than once to the same student.
