IUB-IU Outdoor Adventures Student Engagement Fund (Recreational Sports)

The Student Engagement Fund exists to support Hoosiers facing financial hardship in participating in IU Outdoor Adventures courses, trips, and leadership development
opportunities – creating more equitable outdoor access to the students at IU Bloomington.

All funding applications are reviewed by Outdoors Adventures administrators and a limited number of applications will be selected each year based on the criteria.
Award amounts will fund the entirety of activity fees up to a maximum of $175.44. Any remaining cost for the chosen activity will be the student’s responsibility to pay in advance. The applicable activity fee will still be charged to a student’s Bursar account upon enrollment and the award total promptly refunded following participation in the activity. Applications must be processed before the activity begins, and students can only receive money from this fund one time.
