IUIN-N. Douglas Lees Biology Scholarship (Science)

Overview:

For more than 45 years, Dr. Lees served the Department of Biology, School of Science, and IU Indianapolis. Established in 2019 upon his retirement, this scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in biology who is in good academic standing. The recipient will have demonstrated financial need as determined through the FAFSA.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

• Be an undergraduate student enrolled in the IU Indianapolis School of Science biology program
• Be in good academic standing
• Have demonstrated financial need

Awarding:

The scholarship will be awarded and disbursed to the next academic year, split between Fall and Spring semesters.

Renewability:

This scholarship is non-renewable.
