IUB-Leigh A. Parker Scholarship

Scholarships for undergraduate sophomores, juniors, or seniors and/or graduate students enrolled full time in the Department of History within the College of Arts and Sciences who have financial need and have a record of overall academic excellence in the Department, at IUB, and any prior university or college as demonstrated by a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. First preference will be given to students who are conducting original research and writing in history during the academic year that the Scholarship is applied; second preference will be given to students who graduated from a high school in Indiana or otherwise qualify as an in-state students; and third preference will be given to students who can provide evidence of prior volunteer experience. Eligible recipients will need to submit a plan of study with the application for the Scholarship. The Scholarship may be renewed.

Eligible applicants must be a History major.
