IUB-Professor John C. Andressohn Scholarship in European History

Scholarship to benefit a graduating senior student specializing in European History in the Department of History within the College of Arts and Sciences who intends to pursue a career in history or the social sciences beyond graduation. Preference will be given to a student who has a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. The annual amount of the Scholarship will be a minimum of $500. The amount and recipient of the Scholarship will be determined by a scholarship committee of the Department in accordance with guidelines and procedures established by the College, Indiana University, and the Foundation. If, in a given year, there are more than enough funds available to fully fund at least one Scholarship recipient, additional recipient(s) may be chosen that year to receive any excess income.

In a year when no eligible candidate exists, the Committee may abstain from awarding the Scholarship that year. The Department will inform students that the Scholarship is available.

Eligible candidates must be a History major.
