IUB-David E. Albright Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded by IU Global to undergraduate or graduate students on the Bloomington campus majoring in the Hamilton Lugar School with a focus on International Studies. Students must be enrolled full-time, have a minimum GPA of 3.5, have a demonstrated record of international passion and commitment, maintain full-time enrollment, and be eligible to graduate in 2026.

  1. Each academic year the Center for the Study of Global Change awards one scholarship in the amount of $1000 to applicants who are IU Bloomington rising seniors enrolled full-time with a major in the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies (HLS). Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.50 in their major at the time of the application, be eligible to graduate in the year following award acceptance, and have a demonstrated record of international passion and commitment.

      Personal Statement of International Passion and Commitment of 400-500 words

      Explain why you are passionate about and committed to studying the international. In your statement, you may refer to past, current, and future activities, ideas, studies, research, goals, etc., that involve understanding the world in all its complexity. Save personal statement as a Word or PDF document; include your name.
