IUB-Clifford Flanigan Memorial Fund

It is the intent of the Donors that this Fund be used to assist student(s) enrolled in the Medieval Studies Institute, College of Arts and Sciences. The number and amount will be at the discretion of the Director. This fund was established in honor of Clifford Flanigan (1941-1993), professor of comparative literature and a founding member of the Medieval Studies Institute. In memory of his commitment to facilitating opportunities for graduate students, the fund provides travel assistance for graduate students studying the Middle Ages to attend conferences.
