IUB-Marvin W. Dexter Scholarship
This gift supports scholarships for undergraduate students pursuing a major in Criminal Justice in the Department of Criminal Justice within the College of Arts and Sciences who are first generation college students. The Scholarship may be renewed provided that the recipients continue to meet the criteria outlined above.
The Marvin W. Dexter Award is given in remembrance of Marvin Dexter, who completed his Indiana State Police Academy training at Indiana University and subsequently served 27 years as an Indiana State Trooper, and whose life embodies our departmental mission to educate and empower students in service to community, social justice, and fairness.
