IUIN-Meier/Lyon Dissertation Scholarship (Nursing)

Overview:

The Meier/Lyon Dissertation Scholarship was established by Dr. Brenda L. Lyon. This scholarship supports PhD in Nursing Science students on the IU Indianapolis campus who are enrolled in the dissertation state of their program and whose focus is on either etiologies of symptoms or functional problems that require nursing interventions to prevent or alleviate, or the efficacy of nursing interventions to prevent or alleviate symptoms or functional problems.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

• Be pursing a PhD in Nursing Science at IU Indianapolis
• Be enrolled in the dissertation state of their focus
• Have a focus ono either etiologies of symptoms or functional problems that require nursing interventions to prevent or alleviate, or the efficacy of nursing interventions to prevent or alleviate symptoms of functional problems

Awarding:

This scholarship will be awarded and disbursed in either the current or upcoming academic year.

Renewability:

This scholarship is not renewable, but applicants may receive it more than once.
