IUIN-Senior Academy Scholarship for Returning Students

Overview
The Senior Academy Scholarship for Returning Students is intended to support degree completion for students who are re-enrolling, or continuing as re-enrolled students, after being out of college for three or more years.

In making its award decisions, the scholarship committee will be considering academic and life achievements, level of financial need, and evidence of thoughtful planning for successful degree completion this time around.

Eligibility
You must be:
- Maintaining a minimum CGPA of 2.0 from past college credits
-Enrolled at least half-time at IU Indianapolis in a first baccalaureate degree program

Awarding
This scholarship will be awarded in the academic year following your application.

Renewability
This scholarship does not automatically renew, but you may re-apply and receive it more than once.

Up to $3000 for the academic year

    • How long was the gap in time between your prior college study and (re)enrollment at IU Indianapolis to complete your first undergraduate degree?

    • What was your cumulative GPA at the time you left your last institution?
    • Where were you last enrolled?
  2. The Scholarship Committee seeks to understand how your experiences during your absence from school have led to your decision to return to college and how you are now organizing your life to support successful completion of your degree program.
  3. Have you completed the General Application sections describing your extra-curricular activities, work experience, leadership roles, etc.?
  4. IUI-Senior Academy Returning Reference Request
    • Provide the name and email of at least two recommendation providers.
