IUIN-Altrusa International of Indianapolis Scholarship

" Overview
The <a href=""https://www.altrusa.org/about/"" target=""_blank"">Altrusa International of Indianapolis Foundation seeks to support a currently enrolled IU Indianapolis undergraduate in good academic standing. <a href=""https://districtsix.altrusa.org/indianapolis/"" target=""_blank"">Altrusa International of Indianapolis, which is dedicated to improving economic well-being and quality of life through a commitment to community services and literacy, has established a fund to support non-traditional students completing their first bachelor’s degree. The awardee will be invited to the Altrusa International of Indianapolis’ Annual Style Show and Luncheon in September to be acknowledged as the year’s scholar.

Eligibility

  1. Non-traditional adult student (10+ years since high school)
  2. Be seeking your first undergraduate degree and have completed at least 24 credit hours towards that degree
  3. Minimum cumulative 2.7 GPA
  4. Demonstrates financial need, as shown on a 26-27 FAFSA
  5. Show a strong commitment to community service
  6. Resident of Central Indiana (Marion, Hamilton, Boone, Hendricks, Morgan, Johnson, Shelby, and Hancock)
  7. US Citizen or permanent resident

Awarding
This scholarship will be awarded in the academic year subsequent to your application.

Renewal
This scholarship does not automatically renew, but you may apply for it more than once. You may receive this scholarship no more than two times."
