IUIN-Frances Thompson Cole Graduate Nursing Scholarship

Overview:

Created to honor the memory of Frances Thompson Cole by her granddaughter, Debbie Grew. Debbie worked with graduate students at the IU School of Nursing and saw firsthand the financial need so many of them faced.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

• Attend the IU Indianapolis campus
• Be a graduate Nursing student
• Be enrolled full or part-time
• File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA),
• Demonstrate financial need as defined by the U.S. Department of Education’s criteria for need-based federal financial aid
• Preference for a single parent.

Awarding:

This scholarship will be awarded and disbursed in the upcoming academic year.

Renewability:

This scholarship is not renewable, but applicants may receive it more than once.
