IUB-Alex Black Memorial Scholarship

Scholarships for undergraduate students studying animal behavior in the Program in Animal Behavior within the College of Arts and Sciences who are participating in a summer internship . The amount of the Scholarship will be a minimum of $2,500 for each recipient.

  1. Alex Black Memorial Summer Internship Application for the Program in Animal Behavior
    • a. Will you receive course credit at IU or another university for this experience? If so, please specify.
    • b. What is your summer internship site?
    • c. Please upload a budget of the allowable costs for your internship. Allowable costs include airfare or other appropriate travel to the site, tuition or fees if you are receiving course credit, room and board at the site, or required supplies.
    • d. Indicate other sources of funding for which you have applied that might pay for this experience.
    • e. Briefly (750 words or less) describe your career goals, the proposed summer course or internship, and how the internship experience will enhance your educational and career goals.
    • f. A recommendation letter from a faculty member in the Animal Behavior Program is required. Please provide the email of the faculty member who has agreed to write on your behalf.
