IUIN-Addiction Recovery Scholarship (Health and Wellness)
Overview:
The Office of Health and Wellness Promotion in the Division of Student Affairs is proud to offer the Addiction Recovery Scholarship to one IU Indianapolis student in recovery from addiction who supports others in recovery.
The Collegiate Recovery Community (CRC) at IU Indianapolis began on October 9, 2014 as the first college or university addiction recovery program in Indiana. The CRC creates a supportive community that promotes academic success, retention, and adherence to recovery goals through a combination of direct services, social support, and referrals. By applying for this scholarship, you are disclosing to the office that you identify as a person in recovery from addiction.
Eligibility:
Recipients must:
- Be a student enrolled at IU Indianapolis
- Agree to attend one meeting with Collegiate Recovery Community support staff
Awarding:
This scholarship will be awarded and disbursed in the upcoming academic year.
Renewability:
This scholarship is not renewable.
