IUB-Mary Anne and Frank C. Springer, Jr. Nursing Scholarship

Overview:

Donald and Sonna Merk, both IU Alumni. Don, School of Business, 1966 and Sonna, School of Nursing, BSN 1970, MSN 1981 and PhD 2000, respectively, created this scholarship for undergraduate students on the Bloomington campus in honor of Sonna’s parents, Frank and Maryanne Springer.

Eligibility:

Applicants must

• Be Undergraduate Nursing students at the Bloomington campus
• Be a resident of the state of Indiana
• Be a second semester Junior (300 level courses) or Senior (400 level courses)
• File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
• Demonstrate financial need as defined by the U.S. Department of Education’s criteria for need-based federal financial aid

Awarding:

This scholarship will be awarded for the upcoming academic year.

Renewability:

This scholarship does not automatically renew, but you may receive it more than once.
