IUIN-IACNS Dayhoff Clinical Nurse Specialist Fellowship

Overview:

Donors wish to commemorate the impact of Clinical Nurse Specialist (“CNS”) on the nursing profession and to encourage future CNS students.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

  • Be pursuing Clinical Nurse Specialist degrees or be students who are currently CNS’s enrolled in a doctoral program
  • Attend the IU Indianapolis campus
  • Be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours per semester
  • Have a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Include an essay describing how they demonstrate clinical leadership in advancing the practice of nursing
  • Preference will be given to students who have completed at least one semester in the program.

Awarding:

This scholarship will be awarded and disbursed in either the current or upcoming academic year.

Renewability:

This scholarship is not renewable, but applicants may receive it more than once.
