IUIN-Norman Brown Leadership Scholars Program - Current & Transfer (NBLSP)

Overview:

The Norman Brown Leadership Scholars Program (NBLSP) recruits, retains, and prepares serious, academically gifted students who have demonstrated a commitment to diversity and civic engagement. Program participants are encouraged to attain academic success, engage in leadership and civic activities, and prepare for a meaningful post-baccalaureate experience. Additionally, applicants must be permanent US residents or US citizens.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

  • Be current and incoming transfer students at IU Indianapolis
  • Be pursuing their first undergraduate degree
  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Have an expected graduation date of May 2027 or later

Awarding:

This scholarship will be awarded and disbursed in the upcoming academic year.

Renewability:

This scholarship is renewable.

Award
Up to $13,000 for an academic year (8 semesters) which includes a $5000 scholarship along with, if living in on-campus housing, an $8000 housing stipend
