IUB-Hadassah R. Weiner Friendship Fund for Graduate Student Travel

It is the intent of the Donor, and the Foundation agrees, that income from this gift be used to support travel and study abroad fellowships for graduate students in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese.
Preference will be given to students who intend to use the funding for travel to, or while in, Spain. Addtional preference will be given to to Ph.D. students who have defended their dissertation proposals on a topic related to Spain. Expenditures may include, but are not limited to, flights and other travel expenses, living expenses, research supplies and expenses while abroad, and other requirements of an active graduate student while traveling internationally. The recipients will be determined by the Department’s Graduate Grants and Awards Committee in accordance with guidelines and procedures established by the College , Indiana University and the Foundation.
