IUIN-Laurence Lampert Scholarship in Philosophy (Liberal Arts)

Overview:

This scholarship recognizes an outstanding Philosophy major. This scholarship honors the extraordinary career of distinguished scholar and professor of philosophy Dr. Laurence Lampert, upon the occasion of his retirement.

No student application needed. Faculty nominated and selected.

Nominated students will receive an email notification requesting additional information to be completed utilizing the One.IU scholarship management system.

Eligibility:

Applicants must:

• Be an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in the Department of Philosophy in the School of Liberal Arts at IU Indianapolis
• Have a GPA greater or equal to 3.3 out of a 4.0 scale
• The department bases its selection on superior scholastic achievement, faculty recommendations, and active engagement in the Department of Philosophy.

Awarding:

This scholarship will be awarded and disbursed in the upcoming academic year.

Renewability:

This scholarship is not renewable.
